Pond Prime Product Description Pond Prime® is a complete conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies ammonia and nitrite. It also provides essential ions and stimulates natural slime coat. Pond Prime® also enhances nitrate removal. It will also detoxify any heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels. It should be the first choice conditioner when setting up a new pond, adding, or changing water. No other product is required to make water safe, even in high chloramine situations. Unlike competing products, Pond Prime® does not cause a pH drop or overactivate skimmers. A 500 mL bottle treats over 10,000 US gallons, much more than competing products.

Why It's Different
Nearly all companies manufacture a product that removes chlorine. None of those, however, can compare in quality, concentration, or effectiveness to Pond Prime®. Pond Prime is the most concentrated dechlorinator on the market. A single 500 mL bottle treats over 10,000 US gallons. Pond Prime® will remove both chlorine and chloramines from municipal water supplies. Pond Prime® also contains a binder which renders ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate non-toxic. Additionally, Pond Prime® promotes the natural production and restoration of the slime coat rather than relying on artificial or non-native slime compounds.
Directions
Use 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) for each 600-700 gallons for removing chlorine or chloramine. To detoxify high concentrations of ammonia or nitrite, use 1/4 to 1/2 cup for each 600 gallons. Sulfur odor is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
