Every member of our team brings their own experience, interests and love of animals to Aquabird. From fishkeeping and aviculture to reptiles and small animals, we believe great advice comes from genuine passion and hands-on experience.

Growing up around the family business, Curtis has always been part of the Aquabird team. With an old head on young shoulders, he's the kind of person who's always willing to lend a hand and share what he knows.Curtis has a real passion for animals, especially birds, and is also the proud owner of his dog, Rampage. He's kept and cared for a huge variety of reptiles over the years and loves learning about all kinds of pets.Whether you're looking for advice on birds, reptiles or just want to talk animals, Curtis is always happy to help.

Donica brings plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a love of animals to the Aquabird team. You'll often find her chatting with customers, helping around the shop and sharing her passion for pets.When she's not at work, Donica is usually caring for her birds, breeding and hand-raising a variety of species. Her dedication to animals and her friendly, approachable nature make her a wonderful part of the team.

Bec is the friendly face behind much of what happens at Aquabird, keeping the store running smoothly and supporting both the team and our customers.When she's not in the office, she's surrounded by animals at home. From her Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Cattle Dog to her breeding guppies, Rainbow Lorikeets and guinea pigs, it's safe to say her love of animals extends far beyond the shop.Her passion for pets and dedication to the business make her an important part of the Aquabird team.

Flossie generously volunteers her time at Aquabird a couple of days each week and is always happy to lend a hand wherever she’s needed.A lifelong animal lover, she shares her home with a wonderful mix of birds, reptiles, cats and her much-loved Corgi. Flossie also has hands-on experience with hand-rearing baby birds, making her a valued and knowledgeable part of the Aquabird team.Her kind nature, practical experience and willingness to help make her a familiar and much-appreciated face around the store.

Matt joined the Aquabird team in October 2025 and has quickly become a valued member of the crew. Friendly, hardworking and always willing to lend a hand, he brings a positive energy to the store.A keen animal lover, Matt shares his home with two dogs, a collection of fish and a couple of birds, so there’s rarely a dull moment. Customers and staff may also recognise him by his signature little giggle, which has a habit of making everyone else smile too.

Jarrad joined the Aquabird team in October 2025 and has quickly become a friendly and dependable part of the crew. He’s always keen to learn, lend a hand and build his knowledge across the many animals and products found in store.At home, Jarrad cares for pet rats, several birds and even a spider or two. His genuine love of animals, curiosity and willingness to help make him a wonderful addition to the Aquabird team.

Jessica is the youngest member of the Aquabird team and can usually be found helping out in-store on weekends while she continues her schooling.A keen animal lover, Jessica shares her home with two dogs, two cats, fish and birds. She is also an active member of the Army Cadets, where she continues to develop new skills, confidence and teamwork.Friendly, capable and always willing to lend a hand, Jessica is a valued part of the Aquabird team.
